Before Discipline Comes Honesty

Uncategorized

Recently, someone reached out asking how to structure their Sadhana. Their schedule changed constantly, motivation fluctuated, and nothing stuck long enough to gain momentum.

If you resonate with that… you’re not alone.

Most seekers don’t fail because they lack sincerity; they struggle because they try to begin at a level they cannot sustain. So, let’s make this simpler and more human.

Here are three principles that work.

1. Start With Truth, Not Ambition

Ask yourself honestly:

“What is the minimum I can do every single day without fail?”

Maybe it’s 5 minutes. Maybe it’s 10. It doesn’t matter.

Consistency builds energy. Ambition burns it.

Once that becomes effortless, increase it slowly, every few weeks or months.

2. Even If You Practice Without Deities… Have a Devata

Some follow Kriya, breathwork, Kundalini, or non-dual methods.

Beautiful.

But forming a relationship with a Devata; even gently, even slowly creates protection, grace, and momentum. The tradition isn’t shy about saying it:

Devata kripa accelerates everything.

Short-term and long-term.

3. If Fixed-Time Mantra Sadhana Isn’t Possible… Don’t Force It

Mantra Sadhana requires fixed time and fixed place because rhythm creates subtle alignment.

If your lifestyle doesn’t allow that right now?

Don’t feel disqualified.

Instead, begin with Nama Japa anywhere, anytime:

• While commuting

• Before eating

• At the start or end of work

• Before sleep

Carry a mala. Whisper or think the Name:

Rama Rama Rama.

Shiva Shiva Shiva.

Karuppa Karuppa Karuppa.

Nama Japa purifies the mind, awakens devotion, and builds a relationship with the deity sometimes faster than structured mantra.

And when the Devata wants you to deepen, life will mysteriously rearrange to make time.

If something in these words touched a quiet knowing inside you, perhaps it’s time to walk deeper not wider. Join our Tantra circle, https://shorturl.at/4Fs5a where practice isn’t rushed, power isn’t sold, and every step begins with Devata anugraha.
